Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about TalentChain.
How does Auto-Apply work?
Auto-Apply is a two-week boost that submits tailored applications to relevant openings on your behalf. You set your preferences once — role, salary band, locations, must-haves — and TalentChain matches you against fresh listings every day. Each application is tailored to the specific role: your CV is adapted to highlight the most relevant skills and experience, and a cover letter is generated where the listing accepts one. Every submission is queued for your review before it goes out, so you stay in control. The boost is designed to compress weeks of manual searching into a fortnight of focused applications. Once the two weeks end, the boost stops automatically — no rolling subscription, no surprise charges.
Is my data safe?
Yes. TalentChain is operated by a UK-registered company and built to GDPR standards from the ground up. All personal data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We never sell your information to third parties, and we don't use your CV to train AI models. You own everything you upload: you can export your full data at any time from your account settings, and deletion requests are processed promptly per UK GDPR. Authentication is handled through Firebase, which provides industry-standard account security including verified email and optional MFA. Job-application data is stored only as long as needed to run your boost, plus a short retention window for tax and dispute records.
What if I don't find a job?
TalentChain compresses the application step of your search, but the offer still depends on you, the role, and the market. If a two-week boost doesn't land an offer, you can run another boost when you're ready — there's no recurring charge between boosts, so the only cost is the new $10. You can also use the platform without a boost: build and tailor your CV with the AI-powered CV Builder, browse Smart Matches manually, and track applications in the Jobs Tracker dashboard. Many users find that the matching quality and CV polish improve their hit rate even when they're applying themselves. The platform is designed so successful users stop paying as quickly as possible.
Can I cancel my subscription?
There is no subscription to cancel. TalentChain is not a recurring-billing product: you pay $10 once for a two-week Auto-Apply boost, and the charge stops automatically when the two weeks end. There's no rolling membership, no auto-renewal, and no cancellation fee — you simply choose whether to start another boost. The other tools on the platform (CV Builder, Smart Matching, Auto-Fill extension, Jobs Tracker) are available without a boost and don't carry separate fees during early access. If you ever want to remove your account entirely, you can delete it from settings and your data is wiped per our privacy policy.
What countries do you support?
TalentChain is built UK-first. Job sourcing focuses on listings advertised in the United Kingdom, and our copy, currency conversion, and compliance posture reflect UK norms. The Auto-Fill browser extension and CV Builder work for applications anywhere — they don't enforce a geography — but Smart Matching and Auto-Apply are tuned for UK roles today. We plan to expand to additional English-speaking markets after the UK rollout matures. If you're outside the UK and want to be notified when we launch in your region, sign up for early access; the waitlist gives you priority when the next country opens up.
How much does it cost?
TalentChain charges $10 for a single two-week Auto-Apply boost. That's the only fee. There is no monthly subscription, no per-application charge, and no contract. The boost includes tailored applications submitted on your behalf during the two-week window, plus full access to the CV Builder, Smart Matching, Auto-Fill browser extension, and Jobs Tracker dashboard. Outside an active boost, the rest of the platform remains usable for free during early access. Pricing is deliberately structured so successful users stop paying once they've landed a role — we'd rather you get hired and leave than stay subscribed indefinitely.
Will employers know my application was auto-submitted?
No — your application looks like a normal candidate submission. Auto-Apply tailors your CV and cover letter to the specific role and submits through the same channels you'd use yourself (the listing's apply form, an email, or an ATS link). There's no "submitted via TalentChain" stamp added to your materials. You also review every application before it goes out, so anything you wouldn't be comfortable with manually never gets sent. The goal is to remove the time cost of applying, not to flag you as a bulk applicant — quality and fit matter more than volume, and the matching layer enforces that.
